Born in New Orleans, I was raised playing piano. Though I spent the first part of my life working in education, playing music is what drives me, what makes me feel alive. My biggest influences came from the local-yet-great musicians that the city produced: James Booker, Professor Longhair, Allen Toussaint, The Meters. The vibrant, diverse live music scene is a part of me—as both a spectator and performer.

I’m a classically-trained pianist. I write original songs, collaborate with other musicians and perform with multiple bands from the Gulf Coast to the West Coast.

Took a [permanent] sabbatical from my Education Director position at New Orleans’ boys’ home to pursue a career in music in 2022. I enjoy the songwriting and composing process, both solo and in collaboration with others, and have put more focus on those activities.

I split my time between New Orleans and Los Angeles now, performing and collaborating with multiple bands in both cities. Like many new to this industry, I don’t know what I don’t know, and am unsure what the right opportunity might look like. So I’ve spent time making connections and asking questions.
